HD Flexo, the illustration solution for high-resolution optics (4,000dpi) and modern screen technology. This permits the screen widths in flexographic printing to be increased. The result is a softer image, a larger tone value range, a higher full tone density and bright colours in packaging printing.
This produces clearer representations of text and drawings. Due to this higher resolution, clear, better-designed screen dots are produced, as the dots consist of several pixels. The round shape of the pixels means that they prove more resistant in the printing machine. This in turn means that printing plates can be used longer. Therefore the printing machine does not have to be stopped so often for cleaning procedures during large issues and thus works far more efficiently.
